Service is a core value of WNY Muslims. We believe that lack of skill, opportunity and education contributes to the deterioration in society and are the main reasons for poverty. To address this WNY Muslims is committed to serve community in several ways, we continue to work on anti-poverty efforts and WNY Muslims has been seen in community doing its due share in anti-poverty programs. The Anti-Poverty Program at WNY Muslims is providing relief to individuals in need for clothing, food and any other resources for survival. This program also provides specific training can be given to individuals to equip them integral skills for the workforce as well.
WNY Muslim has established a special link on our website called Help Desk through which individuals in need can reach out conveniently without any fear or difficulty. We are in the process of establishing Help Desks in different local mosques to be able to serve this community on a one to one basis. The help desks will also be established specifically help for women and children who may be suffering from abuse, domestic violence, economic difficulties, psychological problems and any other issues related to displacement. We are in the process of establishing Help Desk in different local mosques to be able to serve this community better and on a one to one basis.
